   エレクトロニック・アーツは2008年9月5日、「シムシティ」シリーズや「ザ・シムズ」の製作者として知られる、ウィル・ライト氏の最新作となるPC用シミュレーションゲームソフト「SPORE」を発売する。

   ストーリーは宇宙を舞台に展開。生命が誕生してから文明が進化し、さらには他の惑星で生活する他部族の侵略にいたるまでの壮大な物語をシミュレートして遊べる。プレイヤーは、自分でデザインしたクリーチャー（生物）を進化させながら、クリーチャー達が暮らす惑星を創り上げていく。想定価格は7140円。
